Introduction to stained glass workshops
Want to learn how to make stained glass art? Kilani + Rachel will guide you through the basic steps of copper foil style stained glass to complete a project in 1 day (approx. 9 hrs including lunch break). It's a day of elbow grease, fun, and satisfaction, because you leave with a comprehensive skillset and a finished piece of artwork that YOU made with your own hands.
Classes will be small (maximum 4 students per day) and there will be two instructors, so you will have access to hands-on, detailed instruction with plenty of time to ask questions. All art supplies, tools, and safety gear will be provided for use during class. Classes are held at the Grass Valley Odd Fellows Lodge located in historic downtown Grass Valley, California.
What you learn
How to use a pattern, cut sheet glass, use a glass grinder, apply copper foil, solder a small panel, and frame your panel using lead.
What you Take Home
A finished 6” x 6” stained glass mini panel created by YOU. Made with vibrant Oceanside Compatible glass.
No experience needed
You must be 18 years or older to participate. Class requires use of upper body strength and the ability to sit & stand for extended periods.

workshops for private parties
Want to bond over making stained glass alongside your own crew? Ask us about hosting a private workshop for 4-5 people. We had a blast teaching private workshops to groups of best friends and family members in 2023. This year we have at least one private workshop on the books with a group of friends traveling to visit us from out of state!
